Helen Neale started blogging in 2012 on KiddyCharts and Stickers, Stars and Smiles after throwing in the towel on being a business analyst and a mum after too many late nights and trips to the US. Believe it or not, she missed them. Writing had always been a dream, and blogging seemed to be an ideal way of developing that dream while still managing to keep her kids entertained. Blogging and social media quickly became her not so secret escape; coupled with the occasional diet coke and sneaky choccy bar. Thankfully, other organisations noticed she was spending far too much time on social media; with KiddyCharts making it as a finalist in the National Blog awards this year, and in the BIBs last year. KiddyCharts has now developed into much more than a mere distraction and provides a steady income, alongside her social media and blogging role for the online retailer, Truprint.
