Well I hope that you are all enjoying this glorious weather, and of course getting round to all of those DIY jobs you?ve been meaning to do. So many of you contacted me last month to share your posts, that I?ve a feeling lots of you have been very busy. I have just completed a mini makeover on my youngest daughters bedroom, and we love the final result.
So let?s get to April?s round-up, and see what you have all been up to and been writing about.
First up is this wall hanging from Beak Up Crafts, so simple, but really pretty. I love the idea of this being used in a nursery, gold and white is such a gorgeous colour scheme.
Another crafty DIY for the home, is this one from Nostalgie Cat. An Origami lampshade, and all for a budget of £1 would you believe! I?ve seen these a lot recently and the price tag is way more than that.
I fell in love with the room revamp from Apartment Apothecary. It wouldn?t look out-of-place on the cover of a magazine, it looks just beautiful! The light generated from the white floor looks incredible.
Were you busy doing DIY over Easter? The Dorset Divorcee gave her kitchen table a fantastic makeover just in time for Easter Lunch. I?m ashamed to say I have never tried a chalky paint on furniture, how about you?
Finally I had to include this post from U Me and the Kids, where she showcases her eclectic home, that is just filled with personality.
See you all next month, and if you either spot something you think I might like to feature, or you have written a home and design style post, either send me the link on twitter or email me.
I?m off to sand down my windows, I?m feeling DIY inspired!
