I cannot believe it is July already! I hope parents north of the border in Scotland are enjoying the first week of the summer holidays. Fingers crossed the sun shines and you get out and about with the kids!
July is a busy month for us as we are moving from Germany back to the UK. I am very much looking forward to unpacking that last box, although I suspect that will not be for sometime!
In this Pinterest round-up I will, as promised, be helping you with how to set up Rich Pins on your Pinterest account. We will also be looking at some great pins which will hopefully inspire you over the summer holidays.
Some of you may be wondering what rich pins are. I know that I was thinking the same thing a few months ago.
Pinterest says: ?Rich Pins provide more to context about an idea because they show extra information directly on a pin.?
One of the things to be aware of is that Pinterest do NOT add these types of pins automatically. You have to apply for them. However, I can assure you that the process is really simple.
If you are looking for some advice on how to do this, check out this blog post from What Hannah Did Next: http://www.whathannahdidnext.co.uk/blogging/enable-pinterest-rich-pins/.
Hannah breaks down the types of rich pins available and gives step by step instructions on how to do it. It is a really comprehensive guide and one you will easily follow, so why not give it a shot and do it today?
If you want to read more about it, then this post by Pinterest guru Melyssa Griffin also breaks down the rich pin set up in an easy to understand way:
Summer fun ? part one
So either you and the children are on summer holiday already or it is just around the corner. Either way, you may want to check out these pins for inspiration to keep everyone active over the summer months.
I had so many submissions for this theme that I will be splitting these over July and August. So make sure you pop back next month for more ideas!
I have set up a Pinterest board for any pins that are featured on these round-ups, you can find them all here: https://uk.pinterest.com/DoubleMonkeyBus/britmums-pinterest-roundup
If you have any posts on Pinterest that you think would work well with this round-up, I would love to see them. Or if you have any vertical pins that you would like to get featured, you can contact me here:
